Forrest Law Receives Satisfied Letter from Clients.
Forrest Law recently received a letter from satisfied diminished value clients Don and Lorene Peronace. Following is an excerpt of their letter:
“….[O]ur 2009 Chevy Silverado pick-up truck was struck from behind on August of 2011….[W]e [initially] dismissed the fact that our truck would be valued differently than it was before the accident. We…thought that we would have to…take the hit at trade-in. However, further discussions with friends led us to understand that there was such a thing as “diminished value”. Through the advice of a friend, we got in touch with Attorney Forrest. We sent him the details of the accident in September. Within six months, we received a settlement in small claims court for the entire amount allowed, $5,000.00.
“The entire process was very professionally handled and [was] effortless on our part. Attorney Forrest took care of everything. It was a pleasure for us to be able to go through a complicated process with ease because of Attorney Forrest’s understanding of the law.
“We would strongly and without reservation recommend Attorney Forrest [for your diminished value claim]….”

Legal Question of the QuarterQ. How does Forrest Law recoup a vehicle’s diminished value loss and how much does the process cost the client?A. Forrest Law works with a vehicle appraiser to generate a report detailing the value of the vehicle before and after the accident. On occasion we file papers in Court to show that we are serious about recovering compensation for the lost asset, a loss that is rightfully owed to the vehicle’s owner. The process usually costs the client nothing up front, and any costs will be recouped if the claim is successful. The legal work is based on a contingency fee, and the client is only charged if Forrest Law recovers damages.
